The Plan
The Shiloh Mesa concept draws on traditional development
principles found in older neighborhoods. Shiloh Mesa is, among other things:
—A community planned so that residents are within easy walking distance of the village center.
—A community encouraging a mixture of commercial, spiritual, housing and recreational uses.
—A community consisting of structures and activities appealing to everyone from children to retirees.
The end result is a 'living’ neighborhood with sidewalks and open spaces that link and define the neighborhoods; streets that allow on-street parking and protect pedestrian right-of-ways; high-quality parks and green spaces; public spaces conducive to the enjoyment of community life; and a thriving, compact marketplace where a variety of goods and services are offered.
